ZRL Race 1 Update

ZRL round up. Week 1.

Well, what an eventful run up to race 1 in the first series of this season's ZRL competition. Wobble Cycle Club (WCC) 105 riders, 11 teams. Not sure, but that must be close to a WCC record. Thanks to everyone who signed up, and for your patience as we battled through the red tape, software glitches, division reshuffles and all other things WTRL saw fit to send us.

So having made it through to Tuesday, and the eventual release of the race pass, race day came, which brought even more problems. Several riders were unable to log on, the remove buttons weren't working which resulted in the wrong people being removed and team rosters depleted. But despite the setbacks, we managed to field all 11 teams,which was a stupendous effort. All teams raced hard, and recorded some fantastic times.

Because of the issues behind the scenes, WTRL are holding all race 1 results as provisional and have announced that the TTT can be rerun after the scheduled 4th race of this series, should teams wish. I would love to be able to give more information but the times and placings have been removed from the tables and the leagues reshuffled so it is likely that teams will be racing the next 3 races against different opposition.

However, here's hoping that the next few rounds are trouble free, and best of luck to all teams. Here's to some fast, frantic funfilled competition
