WSS Race 1

Wobble Sprint Series (WSS) Series 10/7 Kicks off in style

With 117 competitors over three editions, Saturdays first of the 10 race series (best seven times to count), could not have got off to a better start.

There were some cracking duels going on across the races but some stand outs were Manon Holtman (HERD) holding off Sarah Hoffmann (HERD) by a slim seven points in the Ladies race. In the 09h00 A Cat race Magnus Leosson and First TommyMasta (GRIT) battled all the way through but Magnus just held on to score 14 more points. Similarly, Boris Keller (BIKES-FR) edged Andy R by one second ATL to score just four more points than in the D category.

In the 14h15 race, B category Gary Dalley (Inflite TT1D) was a clear winner but what a duel for second between Chris Booth and David Willcock with Chris nudging David out by three points.

The 18h00 race had two just the two A cat riders and it was sykkelpt who narrowly held off Esben J Jensen (FORCE) by seven points.

So an exciting start to an exciting series. We all really look forward to seeing how these duels progress and remember, with seven from ten to count, it is not too late for you – YES YOU – to get in the pen and give it a go.
